No. The Mission Journal is $49 one time. There is no subscription and no monthly charge.

Do family and friends pay to follow?

No. Approved family and friends follow free. Only the journal itself is paid for — once.

Are there limits on entries, photos, or followers?

Weekly journal entries are unlimited. Photos are saved with those updates. You can approve as many family members and friends as you want to follow.

Can a parent manage the journal?

Yes. A parent or another adult at home can start the journal and be a delegated admin — including approving follower requests while the missionary serves.

What happens when the mission ends?

The journal stays private, in order, and ready. You can keep it as a record, and you can turn it into an optional hardcover Mission Photo Book. The book is a separate purchase.
