Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Follow My Mission. The product is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any church. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these terms.

The service

Follow My Mission helps a missionary keep a private journal that can build itself from weekly emails to a unique inbound address, store photos, share with approved family and friends, optionally print a photo book, and optionally contribute to Mission Research.

Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate account information and keep your login to yourself. Missionary accounts own the journal. Delegated admins help manage it. Viewers only see what they are approved to see. You are responsible for content you submit, including letters sent to the inbound address for that journal.

Access and privacy settings

Missionaries and delegated admins control viewer approvals. Entries marked Private are for the missionary and delegated admins only. Do not attempt to access a journal you were not invited to see, scrape private pages, or share someone else’s login. Mission Research is limited to signed-in accounts. The public demo journal is not a private journal.

Fees

A missionary journal may require a one-time unlock (currently $49 USD unless a different amount is shown at checkout). Viewers are free. Photo books are a separate purchase ($119 USD up to 300 pages, then 0.50 USD per extra page up to 500 pages, unless shown otherwise at checkout) plus printing fulfilled by Prodigi. Payments are processed by Stripe. Fees are generally non-refundable once the journal is unlocked or a print order is submitted, except where the law requires otherwise or we cannot deliver the product.

Your content

You keep ownership of your letters, photos, and survey answers. You grant Follow My Mission a license to host, display, process, and back up that content as needed to operate the features you use (journal, gallery, map, email ingest, photo book, and Mission Research contributions you opt into). You represent that you have the right to upload the material you submit, including photos of people who appear in them.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service for unlawful content, harassment, spam, malware, or attempts to disrupt or reverse-engineer the product. We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms or that put other users’ private journals at risk.

Third-party services

Optional Google sign-in and public Google Photos album import are provided by Google under Google’s terms. Print orders are fulfilled by Prodigi. We are not responsible for those providers’ outages or policy changes.

Disclaimer and limitation

The service is provided as-is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, perfect ingest of every email or album, or that Mission Research is complete or official church guidance. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Follow My Mission is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for amounts beyond what you paid us in the prior twelve months.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms. The date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. You may stop using the service at any time. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms.
